International Day for biological diversity 2020

On Friday 22 May, the Department of Urban Amenities took part in the International Day for Biological Diversity by giving the public an opportunity to explore the Principality's wide range of vegetation via the Biodiversity Trail (St. Martin's Gardens) and the three Heritage Tree Trails (in the Monte Carlo, Fontvieille and Monaco Ville districts).

These trails, which are open to all, offer a chance for families to learn more about the plant and animal species that surround us by means of anecdotes

It may be noted that the lockdown period we have just experienced has shown us that Nature quickly takes over again.
