Green IT
IT presents many advantages and is a key lever in acting in favor of the green transition (e.g. energy modelling and management, communicating and raising public awareness, web platforms for carpooling or swop of objects, etc.).
However, Green IT is also the source of multiple environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions of 459 kg CO2e per year per employee on average for companies (Source : GreenIT Benchmark 2021).
To help your company, institution or association improve its performance in the field, the Mission for Energy Transition has developed a Green IT Charter and Guide, which will be available and downloadable soon in this section.
