Subsidies

Certain measures are designed to renovate all or part of our built heritage and improve the comfort of residents while increasing the energy efficiency of buildings.

The Prince's Government offers a wide range of financial assistance that can be combined to help renovate a building or flat.

In response to growing demand, the MTE has compiled a list of these grants in a practical guide entitled Aides Rénovation Bâtiments (Building Renovation Grants), which is shown in this video:

As a reminder, the subsidies concern :

• Insulating the roof
• Replacement of single-glazed windows
• Replacing a collective boiler with a heat pump
• Equipping homes/offices with thermostatic valves, fans, solar protection, etc.
• Installing solar panels on roofs/terraces/facades

A subsidy calculator, also available on our website, can be used to work out the total amount of aid available for renovation.

What's more, renovating the whole of your building allows you to carry out a whole range of work at once, making your building more energy-efficient and pleasant to live in. Rather than carrying out several projects at once, renovating them all at once reduces the total cost and makes you eligible for additional State aid...

The ‘Call for exemplary renovation projects’ enables you to benefit from co-financing for studies and works of up to 50% of the budget:

We can't stress this enough: 33% of the Principality's emissions come from energy used in buildings. Renovating means taking part in Monaco's energy transition, which is no empty phrase, as the Principality's objective is to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030, compared with 1990 levels...
